MARCHESTORIE Tales and traditions from the villages in celebration (1/17 September 2023)

Telling the story of the Marche through its villages, its flavours, its thousand-year history but above all its stories. Do it through a "festival", which lasts entire weeks and which involves the entire Marche region, from the sea to the mountains; get to know ancient perched settlements, medieval fortresses, wonderful cities and churches with a mysterious charm; tasting new foods and chasing new emotions, following the plots of knowledge that becomes entertainment and entertainment. All this exists, and it is called MARCHESTORIE Tales & traditions from the celebrating villages.

Among the centuries-old folds of the Marche territory lie narratives and traditions, and then myths and legends, arcana, devotional aspects and popular beliefs. Events, places and characters from the distant past or recent history, not all of which are known, are just waiting to be presented to a wide audience. The intent is to "guide" people towards greater knowledge and awareness of the territory through the great legacy of tradition, not least that of oral tradition, part of the regional cultural heritage, to the rediscovery of the collective imagination of the Marche.

MArCHESTORIE, to whose participation the Municipalities are called, would thus be open to every public and private reality, as well as to all those association and professional realities capable of offering different forms of entertainment with which to enhance different aspects of the life and history of the Villages , with guided tours, exhibitions, demonstrations, costume reconstructions, tastings and offers of typical products, both in the food and wine and artisanal sectors, together with the irreplaceable immaterial tradition of storytelling, the true heart of the event.

Among the protagonist locations Cantiano, Castel Trosino, Civitanova Alta, Esanatoglia, Montedinove, Montemonaco, Porto San Giorgio, Sassoferrato, Servigliano and many others.
