An imposing neoclassical building began to be built in 1819 and built in ten years by one hundred wealthy citizens. Today many are unaware that this structure, which can accommodate up to seven thousand people, was born as a place to play football with the bracelet, a very popular pastime in the Marche at the time.

But in its time it was also a military hospital, a lazaret, a shelter for sick animals, and even the site of anti-aircraft batteries in the Second World War.
